SPOKANE, Wash. - Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers raised $1.275 million in the first quarter of 2018 her campaign announced today.  The fundraising total includes $803,000 for her 2018 re-election campaign, Cathy’s largest quarter to date. Eighty-five percent of her contributors call Washington state home.
McMorris Rodgers credits the grassroots support and record-breaking numbers to the trust she’s built with the people of Eastern Washington and the results she’s delivered, including cutting taxes for the middle class, helping veterans get the care they earned, protecting Fairchild Air Force Base, and improving access to affordable health care.
“I’m grateful for the overwhelming support,” Cathy said. “Our campaign is about restoring trust in our community, and I’ll keep listening, building more bridges, and delivering results to earn the trust of the hardworking men and women in Eastern Washington.”
Since January 2017, Cathy has raised $4.42 million, which includes nearly $3 million for her re-election campaign. This marks the second quarter in a row that she has reported historic fundraising numbers, and the most recent achievement in a chain of record-breaking milestones. Cathy’s campaign kick-off events in late March drew crowds totaling more than 1,100 volunteers and supporters.
