SPOKANE, Wash. – Cathy McMorris Rodgers took to the airwaves today with her first ad of 2018, demonstrating a commitment to running an aggressive campaign focused on her positive vision for Eastern Washington and the country. 

The 30-second spot showcases her hometown roots in Kettle Falls, reaffirms her commitment to standing up for Eastern Washington’s values, and restoring trust in representative government and the rule of law.

The first in her family to graduate from college, Cathy is a trailblazer who learned the importance of hard work, fiscal responsibility, and community involvement from her deep roots in Eastern Washington.

She showed animals in 4-H, spent her summers working on the family orchard and fruit stand in Kettle Falls, and later, the McDonald’s in Colville to save for college.

Cathy’s a descendant of Oregon Trail pioneers and the fifth generation of McMorris’ to call the Pacific Northwest home. With a long record of delivering results for Eastern Washington, her last six months have been especially productive, including nine of Cathy’s bills passing the House and five being signed into law.
