Today my team traveled to Northport to celebrate Labor Day with our friends from the Stevens County Republicans. There was a lively crowd in attendance, including Commissioner Wes McCart and Representative Shelly Short.
Labor Day is a time for me to reflect on how we all have the opportunity to work hard and achieve the American Dream. I grew up about forty minutes south of Northport in Kettle Falls, while working at my family's fruit orchard. I was able to be the first in my family to graduate from college and then receive my MBA from the University of Washington. I am honored to fight for the American Dream for everyone here in Eastern Washington.
